About Us

Science Bulletin is a peer-reviewed, open-access international publisher founded in 2011.

Mission and vision

Our mission is to build a high-quality, transparent and fast scientific publishing platform for researchers across the region and the world.

Science Bulletin began in 2011 as a small academic bulletin. Today the publisher unites four independent scientific journals, publishes more than 400 articles per year, and works with researchers from 62 countries.

We hold that access to scientific knowledge is a right, not a privilege. That is why all of our publications are fully open access and can be read without any subscription.

Science recognises no borders — only the standards of quality and integrity.

Editorial policy and open access

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence. Authors retain full copyright to their work.

  • No subscription fees — completely free for readers
  • Copyright remains with the author; the publisher receives only the right to publish
  • Articles may be deposited in repositories immediately after publication
  • All publications receive a persistent DOI identifier
  • The editorial board is independent and free from financial interests

Peer review process

The publisher uses a double-blind peer review system. Neither author nor reviewer knows the other's identity, which safeguards the objectivity of the assessment.

  1. Technical check — formatting and plagiarism screening (3 days)
  2. Editorial screening — fit with the journal's scope (7 days)
  3. Expert review — at least two independent reviewers (21 days)
  4. Author revision — reworking based on the comments (14 days)
  5. Final decision and production — editor's ruling

Plagiarism policy. All manuscripts are screened by anti-plagiarism software. If similarity exceeds 15%, the article is rejected automatically.

Publication ethics

Science Bulletin fully follows the recommendations of COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Clear ethical obligations are defined for authors, reviewers and editors.

  • Authorship is granted only to those who made a genuine contribution
  • Mandatory disclosure of conflicts of interest
  • Fabrication and manipulation of data are prohibited
  • Simultaneous submission to several journals is prohibited
  • Corrections or retractions are issued when errors are identified
